Stars in Coma is André Brorsson's musical projects and during the last couple of years he's been releasing EP's and album's on different indie labels. André is living in Malmö and during the rainy Swedish summer of 2007 he recorded the songs to the most recent album You're Still Frozen in Time. This album offers both new recordings as well as older re-recorded compositions, a perfect introduction to what Stars in Coma is about. Stars in Coma sounds like the sonic swirl of Felt, the off-kilter melody of The Pastels, the pure pop of fellow Swedes Celestial and also like . . .well, nothing else really! There are so many fine bands emerging from Sweden at the moment, but Stars In Coma are out there, occupying their own musical niche, creating their own sound.
Stars in Coma made a successful tour of Italy in the latter part of March 2008 to support You're Still Frozen In Time (released the 12th March on Music Is My Girlfriend and Plastilina Records). The tour was booked by Headphonesman Booking Agency, famous for booking italian tours for Soda Fountain Rag, Parker Lewis and Mixtapes and Cellmates amongst others. André gathered the two musicians Håkan Carlsson (drums and iPod) and Mattias Lidehäll (bass and backing vocals) to support him on stage. In 2007 this band made several shows in Sweden, Danmark and England.
